The site is located on the east side of the B3212 Dousland Road, approximately 600m from the centre of Yelverton, a West Devon village on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.
The land at Binkham Hill is proposed for future residential development in the emerging Dartmoor National Park Local Plan and the Buckland Monachorum Neighbourhood Plan.
The website forms part of a pre-application consultation process, the purpose of which is to seek your views on the proposed development. It will be regularly updated and allows you to view the design materials and feedback forms.
A development of up to 44 units is proposed for the site, including 20 affordable and 24 open market.
The affordable housing is set at the highest point on the site, benefiting from long views over the site to the surrounding countryside.
The open market units are distributed around the boundary of the site, with access via private drives.
